Yours truly, PYGOD has always been a combat sports fan. So he created the most entertaining and exciting sport ever seen since the gladiators of the Ancient Rome.
Almost every BKB brawls take place in the SLAUGHTERHOUSE, New York, New York.
- The action take place in the Round Cage. 14 foot diameter, 9 foot roof, a cobbles floor, 4.5 feet off the ground with four 5 foot posts rising above the cage.
And a 12 foot high glass barrier separating the crowd from the brawlers in case of rioting. Since bets, alcohol and fanatism are involved. The BKB fans easily become violent and frightening. On one tragic occasion, the crowd goes wild when a local favorite lost a brawl which generate heavy betting. So, the out of control crowd literaly captured their fallen hero and beaten him to death before making him burn inside of a car.
Known for his rowdiness, the BKB crowd is also known for his distintive chants like: "BKB!", "We want blood!", "Kill, kill, kill!", "Boring!", "You both suck!", "(name) sucks!", "Asshole!", "We want pussy!", "fuck him up SADO MASO fuck him up"
The BKB fans are extremely loyals and intensely committed to BKB. They identify with BKB and back BKB only. Nothing else! So intruders from others sports are far from welcome.
- There is no ridiculous weight categories, no dope test, no rounds, no referee stoppage, no doctor stoppage.
- A 10 minute time limit. Usually, with a draw, neither brawlers get paid.
- You can brawl bare fists, taped fists, gloved fists. You can dress as you want ( cow boy boots, work boots, barefoot, belt, jeans, T-shirt, shirtless, kimono, anything...). Elbow pads, knee pads, weightlifter belts, and even protective headgears are allowed ( but with a headgear, the crowd will boo you. It is considered unmanly to wear one in the BKB). You can wear a mouth piece and a jock strap if you want.
- The only way to win is by knock out. Which is a being unable to rise from a knock down within a count of 10. -A brawler is considered down when he got one knee on the ground.- There is no quitting, no surrender. If you want to quit, stay on the floor.
- A referee is in the Round Cage to "enforce" the following rules and do the 10 count.
- Only punching is allowed (no bitting, elbows, knees, kicks, headbutts, gouging, poking, etc.)
- Stand up brawling only (no ground & pound, takedowns or submissions)
- No blows under the belt, holding, hugging, wrestling, striking a downed opponent is allowed.
- At least two fouls are tolerated. Rules are not strictly enforced. It's all at the discretion of the referee.
- The "No Contest" rule. The referee can stop the brawl when both brawlers goes out of control using illegal actions.
- The DQ rule. The referee can disqualifie a brawler after repeated fouls (at least three) or when a foul is used as the way to knock out an opponent.
The concept is simple: try to knock out your opponents inside the 10-minutes time frame.
